Complete a short health assessment questionnaire for more accurate results.
Ask us anything
No. Samples provided during this pilot are used only for internal product development purposes. You will not receive personal results from these specific samples.
As a thank you for taking part, you will receive a free Jack Fertility semen analysis kit, completed separately after the pilot phase is fully complete, which will provide you with results.
We are developing a home-based semen analysis kit that can be posted directly to our lab. To get there, we need to refine our proprietary preservation solution and see how it maintains sample quality during transport. This study helps us understand how sperm parameters like motility and count change over time. We are validating the science to ensure our analysis is accurate even days after collection. Ultimately, your participation helps us perfect our tech before we launch the product to the world.
It is not academic research, a clinical trial, or a diagnostic service.
• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• You need to be able to provide semen samples at home.
• Importantly, you must be able to get your sample to our team in Oxford within 30 minutes of production at your selected drop off location.
• There are no specific health-related exclusion criteria for this pilot.
Extremely. Samples remain sealed at all times and are never opened in public. When you arrive at your pre-booked Oxford location, look for a team member in a Jack Fertility hoodie for a quick, private handover. We’ve designed every step to eliminate awkwardness as much as possible.
The two drop-offs must be on separate days. They can be on back-to-back days or spaced further apart, as long as both are completed while the pilot is open.
Drop-offs cannot take place twice on the same day.
No. Because we aren’t assessing your individual sperm quality for diagnostic purposes, there is no requirement to abstain before your drop-offs. Carry on as normal.
Yes. You may switch between Common Ground and the Wood Centre for Innovation between your first and second appointments.
Your Amazon voucher amount will be adjusted pro rata based on the locations used.
Timing is important for this pilot.
If you are running late, please contact us via WhatsApp as soon as possible. We will confirm whether the sample can still be accepted or whether the appointment needs to be rebooked.
Yes. You may reschedule if needed, as long as both drop-offs are completed within the pilot timeframe. Please use the reschedule link in your confirmation email, or contact us directly on hello@jackfertility.co.uk
There is no fixed limit on rescheduling, but availability is limited to Mondays and Tuesdays while the pilot is open. If you are unable to meet these timeframes, please contact us and we can discuss whether accommodations can be made.
Your sample is used only for this pilot and closely related internal development work.
After testing, samples are destroyed as medical waste within ten days. Samples are not stored, reused, or shared.
Your data are handled with care and confidentiality.
Your name is never attached to your sample or results. A unique participant number is used for internal analysis. Identifiable personal data are kept secure and accessed only by authorised Jack Fertility team members.
Data are not shared with GPs, employers, insurers, or any third parties, and are never sold.
No. Your participation is completely private.
Yes. Participation is entirely voluntary.
You may withdraw at any time without giving a reason. If you withdraw before completing both drop-offs, no reward will be provided. Any unused samples will be destroyed, and identifiable personal data deleted.
Yes. You are welcome to share this opportunity with others who may be interested.
We ask that you avoid promoting it publicly or framing it as a medical or research study though, since this is a limited product development pilot.
Your Amazon gift card will be provided in person at your second successful drop-off.
The free Jack Fertility semen analysis kit will be arranged and delivered separately after the pilot concludes. This is expected to be during February 2026, but this is still TBC. You will be contacted via email to arrange delivery.
No. You only need to collect one kit before your first drop-off. It contains everything required for both appointments, including all instructions and your consent form.
If you are running late for your 30-minute window, WhatsApp or call us at +44 (0) 7454 823 452 immediately. If a sample is unusable due to timing or handling, we will offer you the opportunity to rebook and repeat the drop-off while the study window is open.
You must complete both drop-offs for the study to be valid and to receive your reward. If you don't finish the second session, no reward can be issued.
Your samples are transported to our secure laboratory at the Wood Centre for Innovation. We test them repeatedly over a period of up to ten days to see how they hold up. Only authorised Jack Fertility employees ever have access to them. We never share your physical samples with third parties. Once the testing window is finished, your sample is securely destroyed as medical waste within ten days of collection.
